• Right mouse over the background of your choice
• Select Save Picture As...
• Save the file in the chosen format in your local home directory in
  your own filename(e.g. paws.gif)
• use the the following script within the BODY brackets:
      background="paws.gif"
• Your BODY script should now look something like
  <B ODY BACKGROUND="paws.gif" TEXT="#008800" LINK="#0000FF" VLINK="#800080" BGPROPERTIES="fixed">
• Depending upon the actual background style you may want the gif to scroll at the
  same time as the viewer scrolls up and down the page, for instance when you use
  the filmstrip or keyboard background. Easy to do, just change BGPROPERTIES
  from "fixed" to "scroll".

This is the filmstrip gif used to create the background when displaying sample pictures. The image itself is 1024 pixels wide by about 10 pixels deep Check out the filmstrip tester page for the exact table sizes to make it look reasonable

Tree on black background. Because the tree was originally intended
for 600x800 screen, when used on 800x1024 the green tree is sized so
that it repeats on the right of the screen as well as the left

Space. Try setting with bgproperties fixed and green text.

Not sure on this one but supposed to be a road with pavement on left
Looks not bad when used as background. Perhaps you could use a table
to position cars on left and right of centre line. BGPROPERTIES scroll
Key board, one gif covers the one octave. Again, 1024 wide
Works well when the bgproperties are set to scroll with the page Manuscript background covering whole page
